      1. @hallenbeck @Sam @spurs I saw comments somewhere during the week that a more physical midfield presence might be necessary. Maybe Bentancur's minutes v City were a job interview for him rather than a spa day for Madders.

         1. @dcdeejay @hallenbeck @Sam @spurs I felt that Bentancur works better against an attacking side. Against low-block teams, his lack of progression hurts us

            1. Good analysis. Sounds like Ange has got it spot on then. Just hope the crowd turn up. An early goal will help as sadly we predominantly only sing when we’re winning. Not like Liverpool fans who sing vociferously when behind to help the team. We need to learn to do that!

            3. Manure too it has to be said. In fact we’re one of the worst. I don’t think we’ve yet properly found our voice in the new stadium tbh.

            5. Yep, that’s what it CAN be like. I’ve experienced it too. But it’s only ever when we’re winning (or in the ascendency). Unlike at Anfield and Old Trafford. Sometimes the team need the crowd. We rarely give it when it’s most needed. @spurs

            7. My dad said the same. I think Ange would be disappointed if so. He wants the focus to be on us playing Tottenham football and not get caught up in anything else

      2. I think Deki is undroppable and it couldn’t have been both of them as needed Sarr today. Not a bad impact sub to have in Madders though! Surprise is no Biss as Deejay has already said.
